hopefully always improving.\u00a0 I think I have this recipe down but as I always taste and retaste the amounts of chili powder and ground cumin could change. \u00a0Start with what I have written down and I encourage you to add your own twist to this classic comfort food.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>INGREDIENTS:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01-1\/2 lb ground skirt steaks<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01lb sirloin steak cubed (try to cut out fat)<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 large can crushed San Marzano tomatoes<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 large can peeled San Marzano tomatoes<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a02 large carrots, diced<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 small red pepper, diced<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a02 medium onions, diced<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a02 tablespoons of olive oil<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a04 cloves of garlic<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 can pinto beans<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 can cannellini beans<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 can black beans<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a02 cans of red kidney beans<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a03 tablespoons of chili powder<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a02 tablespoons of ground cumin<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Salt &amp; Pepper<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a01 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>DIRECTIONS:<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0Heat the oil in a large heavy deep pan; add onions and chili flakes (optional). 10 minutes approx.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Next add garlic, red pepper, and carrots.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Now brown the meat and drain any extra fat and return to pan.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Add tomatoes, beans, chili powder, cumin, and salt &amp; pepper to taste.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Cook on low for an additional 20-25 minutes. \u00a0Serve with a variety of toppings, onions, cheese, cilantro, avocados, jalapenos&#8230; sour cream&#8230; oyster crackers.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0I serve this chili with corn cakes&#8230;
