{"id":1797,"date":"2012-09-07T18:20:20","date_gmt":"2012-09-07T18:20:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/feastandflowers.com\/?p=1797"},"modified":"2012-09-28T14:54:33","modified_gmt":"2012-09-28T14:54:33","slug":"bannockburn-garden-club","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/feastandflowers.com\/?p=1797","title":{"rendered":"bannockburn garden club"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1801\" title=\"BGC1\" src=\"http:\/\/feastandflowers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/BGC11.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/feastandflowers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/BGC11.gif 540w, https:\/\/feastandflowers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/BGC11-225x300.gif 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 540px) 100vw, 540px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I was invited to speak to the Bannockburn Garden Club this week. \u00a0It was such\u00a0a lovely group of women. \u00a0I feel at home with people who love to garden and cook.\u00a0 Many of these women live a few blocks from me but we have never met. \u00a0It is always a gift to get to meet your neighbors especially those that share your interests. \u00a0I live in Deerfield so I&#8217;m just a block away from joining this great group of women on their yearly adventures relating to gardening.<\/p>\n<p>We spent our time discussing recipes that worked with our end of season vegetables. \u00a0I made Gazpacho filled with tomatoes, cucumbers, and a variety of peppers, served in mason jars. \u00a0We discussed table dressing&#8230;
