Let me tell you about one of my all time favorite \u201cgo to\u201d white wines.\u00a0 Nobilo is a New Zealand winery specializing in Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region.\u00a0 Grapefruit, lemon, green apple, honeydew, and a crisp acidity typify the Marlborough style and no one draws these characteristics out of this varietal more consistently than Nobilo.<\/p>\n

Almost every year this wine scores between 88-90 points and can be found for $8-$10. \u00a0This year it received 89 points.<\/p>\n

This is your perfect summer time refresher. \u00a0It is very versatile. \u00a0We love it with an appetizer of sun dried tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and basil on crusty baguettes.\u00a0 It\u2019s awesome with any white fish or garlic and oil based pastas.<\/p>\n

Oh, and by the way Nobilo also produces a wonderful Pinot Noir. \u00a0But I\u2019ll save that for another post.<\/p>\n
